Help to find odd ball Ring and Pinion
Looking for a ring and pinion at about 3.00 for a 1979 915. I've heard rumors that they exist to avoid changing gear sets. and Renagade H said they used to have em, but they are the same people that suggested changing my tire dia. to compensate, that would put em at about 30" so I blew it off.
I got one lead, thanks Geary, I'm checking. Anyone else have any others. Lars |

That would be a 10:31 or an 8:24. Do not exist to my knowledge.
If this is a V8 application you are better off with a 930 tranny. They are geared higher and much stronger than the 915.
