Need New Battery Hold Downs '71 911
I just purchased a 1971 911 that does not have the battery hold down straps. Does anyone know where I can locate two sets of straps for an early 911? Any help you can provide would be most appreciative. Thanks.

These are still available new and you can order them from Pelican I believe.
For used ones the big dismantlers such as EASY, PartsHeaven DART and Carquip can get them.

Fritz, hey cool name! My sister's nickname is Fritz and she races a '69 911S in vintage. She races with another Porschephile named Fritz who also has a 2.0L and a 3.0L that he races. Porsche and Fritz must go together.
Thanks for the info. I could not find the parts on Pelican in the early 911 area. I will look again. I will also try the dismantlers that you suggested. Thanks again!

I don't have the parts numbers handy, but I would stongly urge that you also buy the rubber and plastic pieces that cover the battery positive posts...there was a thread about this safety concern earlier.
