911 early alu engine what year/type????
911 EARLY ALU ENGINE WHAT YEAR/TYPE????
Hi There found another early alu engine think it's 1966..... The number is 9081XX Can't seem to find it in Wayne's book How to rebuild and modify porsche 911 engines 1965 - 1989 I usually look on page 201 but there aren't engines serial numbers starting with 908XXX Thks for clarifying.... |

It is a type 901/05 with serial starting at 907001 up to 908185 for 1966. If you can find the build # located under the type #, please let me know; it will assist my research.
