Finally got the 911 some new shoes...
I would like to first of all thank David Kern(I forgot his user name on the board). He went the extra mile in selling me his rims/tires. He took the time to make multiple trips:eek!: to the USPS to help save me $$$ on shipping(WA to HI). He even took the time to box/bubble wrap and stuff the boxes with peanuts to prevent damage. EXCELLENT member and I will not hesitate to buy from David again. ![]() ![]() Mahalo David.

Thanks for the kind words guys...
Wes...I've been meaning to come by your restaurant...just haven't got the time . Wayne...the rims were powdercoated gun metal. I have a question guys...I got 3/4" hubcentric spacers and was wondering how much(or maximum depth) can I have them machined down to(without having to swap out the stock lugs) since I kind of want to push the rims out a little more. Any advice? Thanks in advance!!

Two issues: 1. re-size the photo to 640x480 before posting, it helps Wayne's server.
2. There's no reason to black out your plates. Everyone sees them on the street every day. The car is sweet, tho.

Can't even see your picture - too damned HUGE! Probably a nice car though.

Maffett...it was re-sprayed...Eissen Blue.
Techweenie..sorry I didn't explain clearly .I already have 3/4" spacers on the side...would it be okay to machine them down to 1/4" so I don't have to change out the studs? The spacers are not installed in the pics. Thanks.

There isn't a universal answer to your question on spacer thickness. What you need is for the lugs to seat as far down on the studs as the studs are wide (make a square). That may be about 7-9 turns... if you back off one lug only, measure the thickness of the stud and put the nut on to that same depth, the space at the bottom of the stud is your safe additional spacer thickness (hope this is clear). Rarely is it going to be over 5mm.
