Question smart racing vs. tarret sway bars

Is one product better than the other? Feedback appreciated.

Smart Products went to a lot of trouble to figure out the kinematic action of the suspension front and rear. They designed their bars to follow this as best as can be expected. Tarrett (aka elephant and weltmeister) is a fine product but its design does not follow the suspension as well as the Smart. They do work well and we install both.

Its a matter of how deep the budget is and how much attention to detail you want for your car

How much of a pricing difference between smart racing and tarrett?

Is there anything wrong with a set of weltmeister sway bars? Is there that much difference between the two?

smart bars will hang down lower in the rear compared to a weltmeister- thereby presenting a possible impact to the components. The front bar mounts a little differently than all the other ones out there too- but presents no interference or impact problems like the rear might.

We have actually found that using the rear larger factory bar with a smart front bar gives us a very nice set up on the majority of street applications. Its once the driver does a lot of track events where he seems to need the adjustability that the aftermarket bars offer

Rear larger bar as in what year bar replace what year cars? Like an 87-89 bar on a 77 chassis or what?
