Goodness! This is what happens when people buy cars far too powerful for their own good.
I heard somewhere that of all the CGTs sold to the public, a third have been crashed. What do you bet somewhere Ralph Nader is laughing his watchdog hiney off?

Didn't 'The Stig' from Top Gear have some trouble when handling the Carrera GT also?
Seems like it's quite easy to lose control in this car.

Looks like he got off easy compared to some of the other C-GT offs.
Just some scrapes on the belly that no one will see, and some serious stains in the driver's seat. |

This is what happens when P AG sells these cars to just anyone with the money (instead of giving them to us free).

That really shows the stiffness of the chassis, the door gap still looks pretty good.

Where on Mulholland did this happen? I've seen a few cars go off on canyon roads around Malibu- the Hangover rally from a few years ago comes to mind. That time I laughed at the ugly yellow monstrosity, though. Anyone who was there will remember.

That's why I won't retrofit MY 911 with those yellow brakes.

Bad news for you guys, they are wrecking another one intentionally for a tv show called "REDLINE" on the El Toro Air Base. Read this in the register last week. They are going to be simulating the Las Vegas airport and a race of some kind. They have pulled the engine though for a transplant, anybody interested??

Plausibly the single most embarrassing moment in that drivers life.

That's not Mulholland, it's Stunt Rd.
I heard from the person who was driving the Lamborghini in front of him that he was driving a bit too aggressively and lost it. Had the ground been dry, the car would've gone over the ledge, the mud caught/slowed the car down and it see-sawed until the tow-truck came and pulled it back over. Minimal skin damage to the car, driver/passenger totally unharmed. The car finished the drive and the owner and his wife even showed up to lunch afterward in Westlake.

I love the fact that those guys are too rich to just move the car, so they stand around and take pictures of it.
