Question '86 Speedometer Problem

The speedo has stopped working in my '86 Carrera and I need to check a couple things before sending it in for service. First I would like to double check the wiring connections on the back of the unit. I just removed white gauge faces that the previous owner had installed...I prefer the stock black faces. When I removed the unit I made a diagram of the wire connections, but since the speedo doesn't work, the first obvious thing to double check are the connections, preferably with someone who has an '86. Bentleys wiring diagram for the '86 seems different from what I have. BTW..the hot and ground wires are functioning fine.
Here is what I have for connections...while looking at the back of the unit with the plastic connector bar on the right. The top connector is the red wire, the next connector space is empty, the third connector is a red/white wire, the fourth connector is three brown wires piggy backed into the connector, and the fifth connector three wires: Green + Brown/Black + Green piggy backed to the one connector. I'm wondering if my connections are correct.

Secondly, I'm looking for recommendations of a good place to send the unit for testing and repair. Thanks for any help and suggestions.

There were alot of posts praising North Hollywood Speedo for a rebuild. Do a search under that and you'll find alot of quality info.

Your lucky day. Before I sent my speedo and tach off to North Hollywood Speedometer last year for new faces and recalibration I took detailed pictures of the back ('86 Carrera) this one should help. Looks like you have your green and brown wires swapped positions.

You're right, it is my lucky day. I can't thank you enough...as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. I'll switch the wires in the morning and give it a go. Thanks for the help and the heads up on using my digital camera instead of a drawing.
