How do you tell early 75 cv's from late?

Trying to figure out which axles to order. Can anyone tell me how to tell? I did a search and nothing really tells me. Flange, size, bolt size? Thanx, Duke

The older cv plates that bolt to the trans and to the wheel flange are 40mm wide, the newer ones are 32 mm wide. I have an older one (40mm) on the right side and a newer one (32mm) on the left. The newer axles from Pelican come with the correct bolts to use. I just put the new axle (32mm) on my 70t.
