How do you attach side molding?

I had to pull back the side molding so that I could pull out my torsion bars.
How does it go back on?
I looks like I need to pull it off completely and slide it on from the back.

Very easy. Take some dish soap, rub it on the rubber, and it will slide right back on.

Well, for me, I already had them off, when I took my rockers off to clean off the 20 years of grime, and remove my AC lines. I had the same problem. I would get them in about 12 inches, then they wouldnt budge. I took straight dishsoap (no water added) and placed a good layer on the parts that met the rocker lips.

The procedure is described in the factory manual.

Install one end, then work towards the other end. Fold the forward length of rubber backwards, about 100º. This spreads the T-channel apart, enough to slide it over the corresponding metal channel on the rocker panel. A little lube helps.
