What do you think of my custom strut tower braces?
Just made these today, I think they turned out pretty nice...

Maybe you could really open up the rear one and tighten up the front one and get some more toe in. :>)

What?

Looks like they should work as good as the store bought ones. What are they made out of? How much do they weigh? One may be sufficient to do the job and if so the second one is only adding weight.

Do you have a better shot of how you connected the ends to the towers?

They are made from 3/4" thick 6160 solid aluminum rod with 10mm heim joints on each end. On side is right hand thread and the other is left hand thread so that it can be adjusted without removing the end. It is just attached with a longer bolt through the heim joint. Not sure what the weigh but not much a few pounds maybe.

I respect the DIY approach.
I think you might gain some stability/rigidity if you could drop tehe passenger side of the forward one to the brake master cylinder mounting bolts or triangulate to another ridid point.

I think your DIY approach is as good as any commercial strut-to-strut setup. However, you might have the same rigidity using a single bar, but with a more difficult-to-fabricate mounting bracket on each strut tower.
