cab top differences....SC versus Carrera
Are Carrera manual tops different from the 83 SC?
I have a chance to pick up a top from a Carrera. With older parts going up....having COMPLETE spare is not a bad investment.....as long as it is compatible.

What year is the Carerra? Tops are interchangeable -> 86 | 87->
If it has the same 'hook' latches, then you're golden.

Mike,
I believe that all '87 tops were electric ... electric and manual top latches face opposite directions, not interchangeable!

Mike, the latches on the '87 top are 'roller' latches. '83-85 have hook latches. I think you can change the receiver on the windshield header, but it's not a straightforward swap.
