Can't seperate 901 trans from engine!!

Am I missing something or after those 3 nuts and one Alllen bolt should the trans slide off of the engine?? I've been cutting my teeth on this all night!! I've tried different angles to relieve the binding and it still won't budge. The car has been sitting for sometime and the motor was seized (1970 911T). Any tips are greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Nabil

the clutch arm needs to be rotated as the tranny is pulled from the engine...this allows the clutch fork to release the throw-out bearing.

The procedure to do this is referred to in Chapter 1 of Haynes. If you've done it before and know what the parts look like the procedure makes sense. If you haven't had eyes-on the parts its confusing. So these photos should help...

Hint: Use all holes in the trans case to LOOK at the parts referenced herein.

This is the fork that the thrust bearing retains preventing separation of the trans & engine.

With the tension released (using M6 x 12 SHCS & washers) tap a 'ear' at a tangent to rotate the bearing relative to the spring plate until the fork is no longer retained by the ears. Notice the 2 flat cuts 90 degrees from the ears. The bearing must rotate until the flats are next to fork legs. The fork will be 'wobbly' when this happens. The trans & engine should now separate.
