Intercooler question

I picked up an air to air intercooler for my 2.2/4 turbocharged and injected Type I VW motor that's in my Speedster replica......it's been cleaned and pressure checked by the local radiator shop.

It has some scaling on it....either from the cleaning process or oxidation. I have cleaned the exterior with a wire brush but looking for an idea to flush the interior. I don't want crap in the cooler to clog anything....or is there anything to worry about?

Take it and flush it and pressure test it to 30psi at a Radiator Shop - it cost me $10 for the last IC to do this at the local Rad Shop in my area (yes it was a slow day for them!).
