Roll up window question

I removed my driver side door window and removed the bracket that is attached to the glass. It looks like there was some kind of rubber or leather pieces in the channel that the glass slide into.

Does anyone know what material I can use as a replacement.

Do I need to glue the material onto the glass. I have some left over vinyl from another project that I am thinking of using.
Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,

Rich

A few pelicanheads have glued the glass to the old rubber and have been pleased over all. I spent the $20 and got a new rubber. The glass fitment is specific.

It was one of those things that I figured do the right thing and worry abot it in 25yrs, not next month.
