Cant get #6 spark plug wire in.
81 SC new wires but cant seem to get #6 to get on the plug?
Feels like an ant in an elephant! is there a trick to this? Help please!! |
You just need to put in the wire stright check how the plug tool atach to the plug and then you will have a clear idea of what I'm talking about

Take the spark plug out and make sure that you took the metal cap off the end of the spark plug.

Thought we were supposed to keep those screwed on?

Hi!
I bought some of the Clewett Engineering wires and had a miserable time with one of the wires. I used a mirror and light to look into the plug area and noticed that the tip of the plug came off. I ended up using some hose/tube (1/2-3/4 Inch) taped to my vacuum cleaner to suck the part out. I screwed the tip back on (tight) and haven't had a problem since!! So, to answer your question depends on the type of wires you have. Brad |
Finally got it. Just all the way back on the right side and a bear to deal with. Thanks
