That is a relief, I thought you were talking about the coveted "Level Four Valve Adjustment", which can only be performed under the supervision of veteran technicians named Heinz at Porsche's Werk II in Stuttgart. This mystical valve adjustment is performed with a live accompaniment of Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen", will net a 27% horsepower gain, but sadly is only available to the Illuminati.

Turns out you were just using lame text-message abbreviations because it would seem you don't think people who you are asking for advice are worth all the extra time it would take to type the extra two characters in the word "for".
Heaven forbid that you would spell out the entire word "adjustment". That is an extra five characters, now that is just crazy talk.

Language is the method by which you present yourself to the world. Don't be surprised if the effort you put into it, is returned in kind.

No, it doesn't have to be level.

Tom, I dont think I have laughed that hard in quite a while. And with a Man on Fire spin off...People can be artists in anything that they are passionate about, you my friend are an artist in sarcasm. I stand humbled.

That's gold!! thnx 4 the info. . .

By the way, I'm professor at a fairly large university. I'm currently trying to corrupt all of society by teaching our youth to take as many shortcuts as possible.

Seriously, I was halfway out the door at work & threw it out there hoping I would have an answer when I arrived home so I could get started on my first valve adjustment. After reading everything I could, purchasing 2 videos covering the process, I've finally built up enough nerve.

Thanks for the answer & the laugh.

Goodluck Tom, its about 10% luck and 10% skill for a first timer but whoever you are its very much 80% frustration when the motors still in the car. Good luck!
