Craig, Kathleen and I will be traveling down in her Carrera. I have graduated from DEs and now only instruct..... Are you going the Limon route or down I-25? Speedo (Lars) is going so we can put him out in front as our cop bait.... Worked last year.
Lets get out of town around by 3. Them teeners better leave by 12:00 to keep ahead of the us...

Bob Ibbotson and I are driving down Friday afternoon via Limon.

Does any four want to use the tents?

Best,
Grady

It would be a long drive from Hue, Vietnam. I'd like to, though

I am going to be up in Denver next weekend and was thinking of comming down early saturday morning to watch for a bit, take some photographs, and steal some ideas for my car. Is it a problem if I am not a PCA member, yet?

I am also going to be watching some of the autocross at Pikes Peak Community College tomorrow, if anyone is going to that send me a PM and I'll try and meet up and get some action shots of your car in full tilt.

yep...

he is coming...

and I failed in my wrenching efforts to get my -4 road worthy.

so I guess I'll have to drive the teener -6 now.

Andy,
how is the weather out there?

I like to stir the pot and am a recovering 914 owner as well (74 2.0 once). I do have a hot lap transmitter but I will not be driving @La Junta. My wife will be and she is in developmental mode. I think my best time in my '72 there was 1:03. Looking forward to meeting up with you in La Junta and having you buy me a brew at the end of the day..... Andy what are doing in Hue?

I'd love to meet up with some of you folks. First time to La Junta and first DE.

Name a time and place and I'm in for a caravan.

I think my best time was a 1:03 last year with the 2.0 motor...
dang... sure you don't want to drive.
I think we would have a real interesting day of it.

looking forward to that beer!

However I can sell you a ticket to the spectator area of La Junta..... Note these tickets need to be purchased in advance before your arrival at the track.....
Just kidding. You should be able to buy a "taste of the track" ride for $10 if you are interested. That will get you hooked on the whole track world. YMMV

Wow that is awesome. I'm really going to try and finagle my way into escaping for a couple hours. My girlfriend is a track coach so whether or not I'll be able to go depends on the schedule of the track meet. With any luck I'll get to meet up with some of you.

Hi Jess,

they are doing registration online (as well as snail mail) now.
but to expedite the process you would probably want to go online.

here is the web page:
www.motorsportreg.com

look for the AMR club even on 5/20
registrar is Keny.

probably email or call Keny directly to speed things up

brant
