vintage Recaro seat ID help please.
anyone know what this seat is. in shape and pattern it looks like an Ideal S. did they come in other fabrics? thanks, Don.

Looks like reupholstered Ideal S missing at least one recliner.

seat upholstery is original, headrests definitely not. recliners are in a box somewhere.

I'm not an expert, but that looks like it might be an 80's LS-A or LN-A with and early head rest. regards. Al PS: the A version seat bottoms have the lower bolsters.

that was my first thought as well Al. but the center pad runs right to the headrest. on the LSA style the back pad stops at the cross bolster that joins the side bolsters. I keep coming back to the Ideal S. I haven't found the side brackets yet but I think they had plastic covers, not the full metal early style.
