Part found inside my driver's side door...can you please help ID?

Thanks. Any advice on where exactly it slides in? I've been looking at the internals of the door trying to figure it out...

Those two pins locate its position and a bolt holds it in place , pretty sure about that, You could open the other door and have a look or check your Bentleys manual...
