Different sized transmission plugs

Car is 1982 SC Coupe. Transmission and engine numbers match the COA. First time changing the fluid and I went to Wayne's book and it said 17 mm wrench, both plugs. Jack up the car and sure enough the drain plug is a 17 and the side plug is much larger. Side plug is on driver's side and looks exactly like the picture in my Bentleys. That book doesn't say what size it is either. What size do you guys suppose the side plug is?

False alarm

It must have been an optical illusion but I tried the wrench again and it worked.
