Time for a Colorado Pelican spring gathering

I was thinking about having a gathering of Peilcanites over for a spring get together. Maybe have some BBQ and definitely some beverages.
I was considering Sat May 6th or Sat May 13th.

May 13th is a track event at Pueblo (Colorado Exotic Car Assoc.). I urge you guys to go if you can $120 all day open track. Email me at grantg10@aol.com if you want info.

I’ll be glad to help with food and other.

Both May 6 and 13 are Alpine Mountain Region (AMR) Colorado Springs events so there shouldn’t be any conflict.

My very incomplete Colorado Pelican list has 42 people. I suspect there are more than double. If everyone will RSVP e-mail me, which will help having food and other. e-mail Grady here

As a reminder George & Sharon Maybee e-mail George here are going to have a Gmund event June 25. Everyone is invited, a RSVP allows them to plan the food. There is some minimal cost to cover the great food. A great Porsche party.

There is an AMR autoxon the 6th, a club race on the 13th and a DE at La Junta on the 20th.

I'm thinking the 6th might be the best choice.

Are the local club racers going to Md Ohio on the weekend of the 13th?

I'm in for the 13th, out for the 6th. I still need one transmission bolt (Orrin at Eurosport couldn't figure it out what size was need for a '72). It seems like there's an undocumented variation in length from year to year. M12x1.5 x 65mm? Anyone know? Maybe I'll give Storz or Dart's a call.

Lets plan on the 13th. That will give more notice for others to maybe join us.
I live in Littleton so its fairly central for everyone. I was thinking around 5:00 or 6:00. Hopefully the weater will cooperate and everyone can bring there P cars.
