Trans Oil Change for Musicians and Bachelors
Had some fun today changing trans oil. Good News, no chunks of anything on the drain plug; just the usual fuzz. Anyway, I've found that a Round-base Mic stand does a great job of holding up that funnel:

Never seen a 911 on an IV before.
Where did it pick up the infection ? I hope the plastic basin scrapped off the hob easily enough, do you actually do your own cooking or rely on take-outs ?

I wish I was that smart - I spent an uncomfortable half-hour on my back under the Porsche working that thick goo through a hand pump. Now I know.

Yes, Defcon65: Gravity is your friend. I have a pump also, but I only use it to top it off.

Don't worry. They're full of Beer Nuts and Cheetos. And girls really like the pink, actually; as it shows my softer side. LOL

He's a batchelor...otherwise the wife would've come out or home and run the garage door down on top of that car................

If Gogar was not a bachelor his garage would be full of boxes of feminine s*it like last years winter wardrobe and would not be so neat. (If I sound bitter that is because I am)
New bachelor and begining to like it, Eddy Porche is currently being hidden due to a phyco ex Last edited by Fast Eddy; 05-19-2006 at 10:08 AM.. |

It's not just the spice tins -- note that the funnel is pink too... that means only one thing: COLOR COORDINATION.
Are you sure you live in Denver??

Luckily, the power to my garage door opener runs through an on/off light switch so I can "failsafe" that uncomfortable feeling. Don't ask me how I know.

It was very easy; some PO had removed the hex ones and replaced with regular 19mm fill and drain plugs.
When I was at Checker (Kragen, etc.) getting the gear oil, I noticed that in the 3/8 drive section there was a tool called "drain plug removal socket :Porsche/VW" or something of the sort, and it's exactly what you need if you have the old style plugs.
