Do these driving lights look wierd?

Just trying them on for size.....comments? I wanna do something different. They are H-1, Bosch Rallye lights.

They might look better if they were farther down the hood lined up with the headlights.

Are you going hunting?
If 'twere mine I'd go a little smaller and maybe twice as many. After all , the higher the fewer.

I think I would try moving them down till the tops were at least about the level of the wipers.

The placement is just for the pic....any lower and they would slide off the hood. My concern is the size. They are 8 inches across.

Yeah but those are 6 inchers.....and Cibies. Had those and they got backed into in a parking lot....pretty damned pricey to replace, I had to get one shipped from France as I couldn't find a US supplier that would sell a single.

They pretty much fulfill the racer's motto:
"If more is better then too much is just right."

(Of course this is from someone with over 900 watts of forward facing lights of their car so "YMMV"...)

Lights « Daylighter « KC HiLiTES: Auxiliary Lighting, Off Road Lights, HID Off Road Lights, Fog Lights, LED Light Bars, Driving Lights, Light Bars, Wiring Accessories, Flashlights, Torches

these can work well for you. Considerably less $$ than the cibie and same diameter (6") . We used to mod the pods way back when to lend more of the oe cibie hood lamp install.

here are the dimensions for you. Remove the stand off the bottom of the pod, get a couple of wedge spacers made up for them, and you will have the right angle for mounting right thru the housing

I agree that they might look better lower down the hood. But I think they are still too big.
