Need ignition, MSD or Bosch?

Cleaning out the 77 targa last night, found out is has a 3 pin cd box. Motor going in (78 3.0) take a 6 pin. I have a few options, what would you do?

1. Find a used 6 pin cd box
2. Put MSD unit in Targa
3. Put MSD unit in race car (3.0 sc) and put 6 pin from race car in Targa

Anyone need a 3 pin cd box? Soon as I get my 12volt power supply out, I'll test it, see if she whines.

I like option 1 just because I had an MSD 6AL fail on me in a race car once.

I'm leaning toward the msd in the racecar, like the idea of the rev limiter added to the system. Looked in the archives, some like it, some don't.

It seems the MSD is of help to an engine that easily fouls plugs.

If no fouling the Bosch is a great unit and the MSD is of little help.
