Where can I find a shift boot like this? (pic)
Does anyone know where I can find a leather shift boot similar to this one so I can replace the stock rubber one?

Looks stock Carrera to me. My 86 has one just like it. Dismantlers perhaps?
Good luck, Ben

I have one like that on my car that I bought a while back. It and leather covered stock shift knobs were sold by a guy whose name was Alan Gunne, later called AGLA or something like that. He advertised in Pano and other places. Don't know if he's still around but you can get them here: www.wheelskins.com/shift_boots.php

Its funny, if you go to Wheelskins.com and try to buy the leather shift boot its over $65 but if you go through ebay and buy the leather shift boot form Wheelskins its only $35

I bought one from Performance products for $50 or so. It was black leather and I am very happy with it.

I looked and they ranged in price from 44.95 on up.....the difference was whether it came w/the leather matching shift knob or not, and of course what model you were getting also. BTW the highest price I saw was 129.00

I've got a stock Carrera one in tan if anybody wants it -- I'll sell it for _less_ than $160...

Funny...for those of us who have the leather-booty as stock ( like my 85 Carrera)...feel closely...there is a rubber serrated booty underneath!!

when I took mine out to install the WEVO short shifter, I noticed a foam lining to the leather boot.
I had to cut that off to re install the new shifter, But I was able to still use the stock boot. ![]()

I got one from Robert @ AppBiz a few years back. It was under $20 (then).

Yeah, $153 plus shipping/taxes from Pelican. Black only. Performance Products (***************) has a boot/knob combo for $120, or if you need colour a boot only for $40. Lots of options for this piece.
PS. I have read a post recently here that someone was having trouble with their Automotion orders.
