testing starter with no fuel
We're getting a 69 911E back on the road after being stored for 28 years w/o running. We turned the engine by hand after oiling the cylinders and are waiting for a fuel pump to be rebuilt. We haven't tried the starter yet. Is there any danger to the MFI pump if we were to try cranking the starter after disconnecting the coil? Thanks for your input.
