Pop-off valve replacement
Seems the epoxy that who ever put mine in with gave out. After reading the tech article I have one question. Can someone define "special epoxy"? Got mine all cleaned up and waiting for re-installation just need to know what to use.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think you use regular black RTV silicone. Let it dry fully before re-installing.

Hey Porsche-poor. Same thing happened on my 81. Can't tell you what kind of epoxy my mechanic used, but take a look at my license plate in my avatar. I've used your screen name many times.

I just used a 2 part epoxy, I believe it was of the 5min variety. Just make sure everything is clean and free of oil and such
