Talking Life Size Sally Carrera

Did anybody see this in this month's PCA Panorama:

Life-size Sally was created from a 1999 996 provided by PCNA. To maintain virtual Sally's proportions the fully drivable 911's wheelbase was shortened by seven inches, the roof raised and the windshield modified to a more upright position.

Hey if you are gonna cut up a Porsche to make a cartoon character you have to use a 996. Especially a 1999 996.

Those eyes are creepy! Shouldn't they be where the headlights are like on the Mobil toy cars?

No, not your post. I was questioning the reason for doing something so dumb to that car.

A SWB 996. Didn't think I'd ever see that... I think the movie will be pretty cool. Of course, I have a 6 year old daughter that's itching to go see it with me.

Kinda' cool. Then again, it's a pricey venture. It wouldn't cost nearly that much to hack up an old wrecker for 'Tater', although 'Flo' would be pretty costly too, among others. I can't imagine someone hacking up a Hudson, but if they did it to a Porsche, you'd think they'd cut on a Hudson too.

I don't know...promotion I guess? There's a whole article about Porsches involvement in the movie in the latest Pano. I didn't read it. I just looked at the pictures. I'm that way sometimes.

Here's one page...

When I first saw trailers, I missed that there was a Porsche in it. Now I can't wait to see it. ..and with Bonnie Hunt's voice! I love her...

Did I mention I'll be buying every Sally Carrera toy I can find?
