pedal cluster help..

I took the pedal cluster out of the car tonight in hopes to rebuild it and get it back in the car by tomorrow.....but i didn't.

I drilled out the roll pin, but now i can't get the main shaft that goes through the cluster out. The rill pin in definitely out because i can roll the clutch pedal on the shaft, I just can't get it to slide out the other side to save my life. I even broke out the dead blow hammer and got violent@!!!! Help me!!!

Is it cracked/bent? On mine the hole for the roll pin had a crack throuhg it and I could see how the relatively unsupported end could bend. If that happens then it would keep it from coming apart. But in your case it doesn't sound liek the problem becuase you can spin the clutch arm. Is there a burr or something keeping it from passing through?

Can you hacksaw off the throttle cable end and pass it through that way?

Use an old socket the size of the tube and press or beat it out. A big C clamp is handy for the shop for this and a lot of other pressing operations. I've relied on one for years but I just bought a 12 T press.
