BUMP

Was surfing the board and found this. I think it is the first post and it has taken 6 years for a response :)

cyprusx 05-01-2004 08:06 PM

Yeah... I have found the board to be slow at times... lol

cegerer 05-01-2004 08:27 PM

Anything about 911s????

Well, I've heard it's a really good idea to junk the flat 6 and install a Chebby V8 ...... other than that, haven;t heard much .....

Cool, a 911 BBS!

OK, what's the biggest wheel/tire combo I can put on the back of a narrow bodied long hood?

I searched archives and couldn't find anything . . .

:)

Best,

Kurt

What was the record for views and posts? Like 15,000 views or something? I bet this one goes wild.

Bob's Flat-Six 05-02-2004 02:32 AM

Just goes to show you, If you don't list your location you might not get a response.

It's about time we found the instructions for this board :D

What tires do you recommend for a mid 80s Carrera?

db (eagerly awaiting a response)

First thing I do when I get into the garage is to check my oil level before starting the car. I heard it's important to have enough keep the car cool. It's always low. I add about a 3 quarts every time. Strange.

BTW: is it normal that Porche's smoke a lot, I mean really a lot?? Can that be fixed. Anyone???

cegerer 05-02-2004 04:53 AM

Do you have the updated pressure-fed muffler bearings? That's likely your problem.

Porsche 05-02-2004 05:03 AM

Talk about bumping an old thread... ;)

brcorp 05-02-2004 05:21 AM

I'd like to get more performance out of my 3.2, will a chip change help?

Stick to selling car parts. We dont need no BBS.

Larry Harris 05-02-2004 05:34 AM

I've heard all Porsches are made of fibreglas. Is this true?

singpilot 05-02-2004 06:06 AM

I'd like to stick one a them thar turbos on my 911SC. I already have the tail, so it should fit right in, right?

So do I mount it close to the muffler or put it up by the K&N?
