flat or gloss

I am going to paint the metal dash on my '68 911L. I need to know wheather to use a semi-gloss of flat black. Please advise. thanks in advance.

I would check with your local PCA to find out if anyone has a concours type car of that era, and then try to match the paint to that. I don't think that any data is available on the dash paint.

I personally would use a semi gloss or satin so as to keep the reflection down. Nothing worse than getting blinded by the dash as you make a turn around the hills. Just my .02
