No spark, 70 911T

Hi. I am trying to wake up a 70 911T after a long period in storage. It ran fine, with a fresh tune and oil change before storage. Engine cranks well, getting fuel, but not getting any spark to the Marelli dist. The capacitive discharge unit whistles just fine when powered up. Any suggestions as to what to look for, procedures, etc., will be most welcome! TIA

You need to have a methodical system of checking each of the components to trace down the problem.

But, one quicky, if your car has a CD ignition, and is similar to an SC, make sure that ALL of the connections between the CD unit and the distributor are clean. Take all the connections apart, inspect them and clean them with contact cleaner.

Been there, done that!
