I have an '87 911 Carrera that I purchased 2 years ago and would like to hang out with some 911 folks, and even join in for drives. Do you guys do this often? I live in Burbank, CA

WELCOME to the Forum.

You will find many tours here and you should investigate PCA, POC and more. In your ‘neck of the woods’ there is a lot of activity.

It is advantageous to visit some of the Porsche shops and introduce yourself. You will find many referrals.

Of course you are always welcome here in Colorado.

Welcome to the board. Their is always some car event going on in So Cal. Just start getting on the lists from PCA to Pelican. By the way it is tradition on this board as a new member that you post pictures of your car. So get posting. I am keeping the 911 of the road for the rest of the weekend. I had 4 CHPs on the way home and one right behind me my last leg of road home from South County. They are out in full force. Be careful out there.

a few of us are going to do a drive July 3rd from Gelsons in Calabasas - off mulholland highway near topanga cyn. Meet there at 8:30 am in the parking lot. We'll decide a route then and end up at some restaurant for lunch.

no, not in the same lot as islands near 101

- if you are coming from the south on the 101, exit at topanga cyn and go west towards the ocean. turn right on mulholland dr, then left on mulholland hwy- its just past the shell station.

If coming from pch- take topanga cyn to mul drive and turn left, then left on mul. hwy

From the north, you can exit Valley Circle and take mul. drive past the islands/ market/ roasters shopping ctr to mul hwy- turn right
