Now we're getting somewhere :p

Hilarious! Up until this thread I had never considered spinners, naked lady mud flaps, curb feelers and a trans am bird on a Porsche. And now I've got to get that image out of my mind.
But then again - can you send me that bird image? I think I'd like to have it tatooed to my forehead. And, of course, I'd put the word Porsche underneath it (just above my eyebrows). |

I finally got the louvers installed on the back window and my wife bought me some more bling... see if you can spot the latest mod...http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1151764604.jpg

This is just too amazingly coincidental! I've got the exact same set of those beautiful lightweight polished aluminium mirrors I want to put on, but the passenger side one is missing its base - would you consider selling the extra one I see you have, laying over on the grass? I love the row of side marker lamps - Always been fond of blinged up Kenworth tractors! Wish I had those wheels. Are they the Daytons w/24k plating? Truth be told, the welded chain steering wheel is a work of art! Where on earth did you find aluminum chain in that size? (Tell me you didn't use steel!). Only neg. comment is that the fuzzy dice, while way too kool, are a little large for my taste. Thanks, Davd |
As the late great Python Graham Chapman used to say, "Stop it! It's getting silly!" But don't stop -- it's too damned funny.
I remember once a friend of mine commented on how tricked-out BMWs were an abomination. "Dave," I said, "there's no accounting for taste... one man's meat... whatever blows your skirt up... all that." He thought about and said "Yeah, I guess you're right." Then after five additional seconds of reflection he added "but those guys who put gold mesh BBS wheels on their cars, you can't tell me that they're not just f*!&#ing *******s." |
While your at it, don't forget to add your side pipes and rear view mirror dice. (joke)

You all know the whale tail is begging for "expansion". :D
|
I can't find any good pictures of it right now, but a Porsche shop in town here has one of their track cars done up as a woody!! For a track car, it's actually kind of neat. They call it the Flaming Woody - it is a GT3-RS with a carbon fiber shell and wood-grain graphics on the doors and rear quarters
BTW, after reading the replies to ethe bird on the hood, I have decided to remove the neon lights from under my SC ;) |
I've taetelessly (but then, look at my car) posted this thread topic over on Rennlist
Unclebilly's side pipe are fly, man! But I think the heat might crack my neon.
Kenik - Expanded the whale tail as per your suggestion. You didn't tell me I'd have to pour 175 lbs of lead into the front bumper to heep the front end down over 45 mph. Oh, well, I know when your going for max. performance in these cars, there's always tradeoffs. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1151786407.jpg |
Ok, now pitch it to Pontiac. You guys have built excitement! There's still room for side cladding or a fake rear brake vent too.
Owww, Owww... my sides are hurting! Most excellent thread! |

To bowdlerize what you say - "We never truly realize our limits until it's too late!" I think those limits were exceeded from the outset. And now it's late - it's very, very late. Take heart, though, for, to bowdlerize another, "The only thing you have to fear is what scares you", and I keep getting more scary ideas in addition to those of all you other posters who've joined in! Hey, I'm a rank newbie! Is this kind of prolonged insanity going to get me reprimanded or thrown off the forum? |

going to get me reprimanded or thrown off the forum? No, but owning that British stuff will... :D |
