1974 2.7 Carrera VIN Question
VIN# 0114400125.
Is this a European or North American car? And, would Porsche ever have delivered a car originally destined for North America to a European (German) dealer for a North American customer living in Germany at the time? Strange question, I know, but just trying to determine correct lineage. Thanks! |

You've got one of 528 '74 US Carrera coupes if the VIN is 9114400125.
It is certainly possible that a US customer living in Germany (sometimes military) or an American on vacation picking up a tourist delivery car would create some type of European documentation for a US spec car before it is sent to the USA. |
