Question on oil tank to engine S hose. Please read.
I found this STAINLESS STEEL RADIATOR HOSE on J C Whitney and think it might be ok to use for this purpose. What do you guy think?
If it's good for this purpose, anyone know if they would fit? It said OD is 1-3/4" but doesn't say anything about ID. Is the ID something people should know when OD is provide? I know that we need ID is 1". Thanks.

There is no 1" ID bulk hose on earth that can bend tight enough to replace the 'S' hose without kinking! That is precisely why it is a molded hose!
Please forget you ever had such a risky idea in the first place! If the 'S' hose is restricted in any significant way ... you lose oil pressure, and BEARINGS in a very short order!

Possible kinking aside, I don't think a radiator (water/ethylene glycol) hose is up to oil grade work in the long run.
