Lemme see your steering wheels

Got a nice Italvolanti wheel i'm going to fit to my SC as soon as the hub arrives and was just wondering what everyone else uses and looks like.

Mine is a Fairly plain Black 3 spoke (I like the way its understated-and not too modern for the car)

The only issue i had was it's stitching was red. This was soon solved with a black permanent marker pen.

Will post pics soon,

Thanks guys.

I just picked up an Italvolanti wheel too. I would have loved the red stitching yours had with my car. Haven't installed mine yet. It has a hub but I'm hoping to be able to use it with the optional hub extension that came with my car.

Here is one in a rare 930SE. This is an interior you don't see every day. It's with a silver car. Beautiful!

My M491 Carrera has this wheel, but in a linen color that perfectly matches the interior. The option codes say it came with "sport steering wheel". I deduce from the other thread that it is likely the original.

Jastx, if you would be kind enough to post a pic of the hub extension, I would appreciate it. My wheel is too close to the dash and I need to bring it out some.

The porsche buttons are available on ebay.

They can't be found too many other places since Porsche began aggressively protecting the use of it's name and crest by aftermarket companies.

I actually like it alot. The leather is over a molded foam and it feels natural...ergonimic I guess is the word. It's got the humps and grooves in all the right places. My 74 911 is not so fast but it's got more bells and whistles than most and is a real looker. I'd say I've got about $20K into it now. (don't let the wife see that)

gotta love em...porsches
