steering wheel bushing
I believe my steering wheel bushing popped out as all of a sudden it had about 3/4 inch play up and down. I've pulled the wheel and want to pull the turn signals, but am not sure how it is held on. Any help?

On my SC it was a plastic bushing that died after 20 years. Pelican makes a replacement sleeve. Call them...it's an ez replacement.

You do not have to remove anything else besides the steering wheel. The bushing slips over the shaft and you're done.

What year 911 do you have? To get to the steering wheel bushing you need to remove the steering wheel itself. It's held on with one 34mm nut. A 1 1/16 socket will work as well.

bushing
Thanks all for the help. You're right, I didn't need to take off the turn signal housing, I just pressed the bushing back into place and it is solid again. I will order a bushing from our hosts and be ready for next time. Thanks again/van

No ! ...... not 34mm
It's a 27 mm nut = 1.06" = 1 1/16" - Wil
