front caliper bleeder valves: top or bottom of caliper??
Are the bleeder valves on the front calipers in a 66 911 (swb m caliper) suppose to both be on the top side, bottom side, or different? On my car the passenger is on the top and the driver is on the bottom. The rears are all on the top, and typically as far as I can remember most cars have the bleeders on the top. Ive looked through all my manuals, does someone know the answer to my question??

They should be on the top. The air is bleed from the high point.

i knew it. Luckily i have an extra which should be correct then. I knew that didnt make sense, im just surprised it fit at all.
One other quick question: to depress the pistons can you just use a C clamp or would there be a proper tool/procedure? |

A C clamp using the old brake pads works really well

the use of old pads is highly recommended, the tops of the caliper pistons are very thin
