Front end sways too much!

So i have not yet crawled under the car, but I was hoping you all could diagnose the problem first.
For some reason the steering seems really sloppy. Not the wheel itself (bushing already replaced), but it seems the front end seems to sway (and roll) way too easily if I turn the wheel back and forth. The sway/roll is infinitely multiplied when driving at freeway speeds. What would this be?
Torsion bar? Sway bar? Thanks for the help.

Have you checked the sway bar bushings? If one fell out, that would do it.

If it tends to sway only when turning one way vs equal sway both ways, then I would think corner balance is way off.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, I will look into that.
It seems to be an equal sway when I turn the wheel back and forth.

I would say they are 20000 miles old (1990), Bilstein blue stripes.

Does the car handle funny, lots of over/understeer? Did it always do this or just start? Has it been lowered?

Unfortunately with the info given it could be one of a number of things. We don't really have enough info to rule anything out.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking too. I could be just about anytihing.
The odd thing is that it seems to just start. Handling seems OK. THe car was lowered a while back. I wil continue to look into it.
Thanks
