Mike,
The only easy bolt-up is to use the smaller 215 mm ‘push-type’ clutch from ’65-’69. The parts all go together: flywheel, pressure plate, disc and release bearing. These are the standard parts used with a 901. The easiest (although expensive) solution to using the larger 225 mm pull-type clutch is to change transmissions to the type 911 or 915. Best, Grady

Good advice. I would add; use the same clutch cable as the clutch assembly of choice.

I have the 901 mated to a 2.7 with the 215mm clutch. Here is a link to a thread that Grady helped me figure out the difference in forks. In my case the previous owner modified the fork on the 911 gearbox to work in the same manner as the 901.
911/01 and 901/13 Clutch Forks All I can say is trust Grady's advice, he knows what he is talking about.
