Cab Front Qtr Windows
Anyone ever try to remove or replace the front quarter windows on a cab? They are fixed in plalce and make the hot days unbearable because they block all airflow to the driver. Sorry no working A/C and I'm talking about top up track days. Wondering if anyone ever attempted to change them for an openable model.

Dumasses at the tracks should allow top down racing if you have a roll bar and arm restraints....take a look at the rule book. I know most PCA rules do as well as SCCA...or they used to...
Not like a cab top is going to provide ANY protection.

Thank god our PCA allows top down - Besides more comfort, better vision.

Tops are not only allowed down, but encouraged. I just don't like to drive with it down as it feels kind of strange. I just wish I could tie on a piece of brake duct through the qtr window like the AI cars and get a shot of air right at my face.

Then get an air duct to blow air at yer face...or get a blower for your helmet...
