Hammer hits Warsaw!

We are loading the rental van as I type this. Thanks to Grady we have a nice little detour in Colorado to get us off the main interstate and see some country. The packers show up in the morning, the truck gets loaded up on tuesday and we hit the road early Wednesday morning.

See you guys sometime next week.

Shawn,

Sorry again you have to leave our beautiful state. Thanks again for stopping by and visiting for the past month. You are now inducted as an honorary SOCG member. Best of luck in your travels back East.

If you are heading out East on the 40, look for an RV towing a Subaru heading West and wave We're heading to SoCal for a few weeks.... Good luck, wish I'd be around when you hit Colorado.

Oh oh, your age is showing! (Mine too). I know what you are referring to, you couldn't be my age (51), be a car/motorcycle guy and NOT know.

Should we wait until one of the younger guys says, "What the hell are you talking about?" or should I post it here??? I'll wait and lets see who gets it.

Hint: Do the names, Michael Parks and Bonnie Bedelia mean anything to you?

Have a safe trip Shawn and family! It was nice to meet you at the BBQ the other weekend. I hope it all works out for you and I hope your company keeps you in one place for awhile.

Hey dudes! Checking in from Moab, Utah. Gonna buy some stickers, see some big rocks, and then head for Colorado. We are having dinner in Ouray and then heading to Durango to spend the night.

Grady, If you are out there give me a call on my cell.

Ralph, Sorry...I know you were looking forward to that ride.

Type911, We are in Durango right now!

Grady,
Our phone died on us and al the power outlets in our rental don't work. As soon as the phone is charged enough to turn it on i will check your voicemail.

Ouray is incredible! I think we took about 120 pictures today!

Shawn,

Welcome to Durango. Please stay until 4 or so for the 911e gathering this afternoon. It should be fun. If I can help beyond what type911 can I'll gladly do so. If you need an idea for something to do today shoot me a PM, or email me at rmshaner (at) hotmail.com

Rich

Chris,
We are leaving this AM probably around 10. We have to drive to Colorado Springs today and i would like to make it during daylight. We drove half the drive from Ouray to Durango in the dark. That was a nailbiter!

Rich,
Thanks. I wish we could stay for the E gathering. But driving in Colorado at night just doesn't appeal to me...

Grady,
I got your phone messages. We aren't trying to avoid you it's just that the electronics are against me!

Chicken! ! ! Too bad you did half the drive from Ouray in the dark, at least it wasn't the first half with the cliff off to your right. Have a safe drive to the Springs today, wish you could stick around.

Rich
