3.6 rsr-alike MFI etc

Hello all.

I'm wondering about feasibility of making an RSR-type MFI engine based upon 964/993 motors.

The only major issue looks the three bolt inlet flanges on the heads..headers etc seem likely to fit?

The fan is different..but maybe needed for flow reasons..

Are there any examples out there..anyone BTDT?

Kind regards
David

I love the idea, but the standard MFI pump and stacks are not gonna make it, are they?

David:

I've seen several slide-valve 993 RSR motors and all of them used Engine Management (EFI or Motec).

Sam Shalala of Pro-Teknik used to make a gorgeous slide-valve intake set for these engines (we have one here) but its EFI specific.

Adapters can be made to use the original RSR slide-valve stack assemblies on a 3.6-3.8 but I think they are too small for these big engines depending on what kind of HP you need. :)

Its certainly doable.
