Anything going on in OK, TX this weekend??

I'm in South-West Oklahoma for a while,

Is there anything going on this weekend ? Ok City, Witchita Falls ???

4+ hour drive Ain't Nuthin' out here !!! Let me know !!

BTW, When driving out here, I got off I-40 in North Eastern OK up on what used to be the old Route 66 and headed West.

WOW !!!

I SWEAR, shortly after I got off the hwy, I drove through a small town that was ABSOLUTELY the model for Radiator Springs from Cars !!! AMAZING !!!

One of the best drives I've ever had !! Too bad I was in the Honda !! The entire time I was wishing I had the 911 !!!

Are you in Altus? Not much else out there but jackrabbits and oil wells to the North and East. Used to do some Oil and Gas work out there. It's actually pretty attractive but unfortunately not a whole lot to do. I would probably head into Wichita Falls.

Yep, that's exactly where I am !

I might head north to Enid if nothing comes up. I have some friends up there I can visit for the weekend.

Maybe W.F. too....

Anyplace where there's AC !

Whats happening in TX and OK this weekend? HEAT!!!!! lol. WAY to much for the AC in our poor old 911's to handle. My ex and kids live in Dallas and i rent a nice new Durango with powerful AC when I go out there. Notmuch better here. My AC works as well as any you will find in an old 911 and I am still suffering a bit.

Well if you're going to drive that far I'd just go to OKC and see Bricktown and maybe catch a baseball game at their minor league field. It's absolutely gorgeous and about 50 feet from some great bars and restaurants. I have to admit I've never been to Enid (grew up in Tulsa)...although I remember a girl from there when I was at OU, but that's getting a little OT and I'm married now.

HAHAHAHA !!!!

That's a good thought ! Bricktown IS a blast, and I may end up doing some of that...

I was almost thinking of venturing up to hit Eskimo Joe's again !! It's been YEARS since I've been there...

Thanks!

It appears that the only thing on going in that area this weekend is RAIN.
