re-attaching clutch helper spring and lever?
OK...I've got the orientation of the helper spring, arm and lever. I also realize that a hockey mask should be worn when prying the arm back in order to set the spring. Here's what I'm doing....I slide the arm over the shaft and align the spring to the pin. I then attach the helper the little spring and lever. I have a few questions....once the spring is loaded I can see my clutch pedal is way out towards the driver's seat. Secondly, I can see the little spring has some tension on it....I would assume then the clutch pedal isn't depressed, there shouldn't be any resistance on the little spring....
So, where should the little lever be when the large spring is loaded? How much distance should there be between te lever and the adjusting bolt (again, while the helper arm is loaded and the pedal is not depressed)...Hope this makes sense...I might post a couple pics....I've looked at Bentley, 101 and still can't quite make sense of it... I feel like I'm making a little progress since I figure out how to load the helper arm (that was difficult).

Pics would help, 101 is all you need to get this in correctly, tension on the little spring is normal when the clutch is not depressed. IIRC, the distance between the adjusting bolt and lever is around 1mm, 101 projects should tell you that in section on how to adjust clutch.

OK, it's on and everything is installed correctly. I still think it needs a little fine tuning, but I think it's pretty good. When I depress the clutch pedal to the floor, on the travel back it seems to have just a slight pause/hesitation (very very slight), towards the top, before it comes all the way back. Does this sound alright? Since this is a new clutch, I'm not quite sure how it should feel.... Hopefully I'll get the sway bar on tonight, fill it with oil and take her for a spin. I'm anxious to feel how the rebuillt transaxle shifs as well....

Help....will not go into gear.
OK...the car started...that's always good after an engine drop etc...Bad News, the car will not go into gear when the car is running, what should I adjust...the clutch cable or the stop bolt or both....?
