Came across this beast on the net. Anyone from here ?

I think it would be safe to say that it's probably loud.

Can the 993 effectively mate to the 915?

I'd imagine that the owner must have had the shop do some body modification so that a G50 could be installed (probably the tranny that came with the engine). If you have the money for a 993 engine and for someone else to install it for you, I'd under the opinion that he had that money to put the G50 in as well.

It would be great to see some more pictures. Thank you!

Yes, you can mate a 993 to the 915, several people here on the board have don it in their 3.6 conversions. There is even a 3.6 conversion kit you can get that includes what you need to mount it to the 915 - Do a search and you will se lots of info
I was very close to accepting an offer last year by Harald here on the board to have a 993 3.6 supplied and fitted in my SC, but other repairs stopped the plans in the end...
