Removing alarm, relay???
As a continuation from another thread, I'm trying to remove this nightmare of a firehazard. In this pic, under the driver side kickpanel I can't really figure out where the Alarm system ends and the Porsche begins. Any ideas?
My concern is the red wire spliced into the heavy guage Yellow one (second pic). I'm guessing the cannon plug that the yellow wire is attached to is original Porsche, but what or where was the yellow connected before? Thanks ![]() ![]()

Actually, I figured it out. Just had to peel off some more tape! What a waste of time and space-

There are no Cannon plugs o receptacles in any of your pics! If you are talking about the round, nylon-bodied 6-pin connector, then that is a factory Porsche connector.

I had this same crap in my car and it caused all sorts of "no start" problems. Could an old alarm system (Hofco II from 1985) have caused my battery and alternator to fail?
