Can I do the same for my 3.2? Also can you please attach a picture of the bottom of the engine?? sorry for asking too much.

Did you take a look at this thread referenced above: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=231053&highlight=backda te

The third pic at the beginning of that thread shows the only two pieces that you need on the left side in the engine compartment (for a 3.2 ONLY). On page two, there is a pic from the underside of my car showing the heat tube that connects to the two stock heat exchangers. Hope this helps...

Hi Keith,

The 2 pieces I need are the plastic attached to the fan and the hose. Is this correct? Can you tell me the part number of the plastic? cause i think the other thread already specified the part# for the hose

Looks nice Keith.

Thanks, and yes for a Carrera, you only need those two pieces. I believe the piece is referred to as the "left side hot air duct", and the one I have is metal, and is the OEM 930 turbo part. It's not cheap (if you buy it new), so you might want to locate a used one, or use of of the alternatives mentioned in that thread (i.e. Thom's fiberglass part, or a John Walker modified stock part). Here's another recent thread: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/293046-heater-backdate-parts-partsheaven-soon.html
