Anybody know what this part is ?

A friend aquired this is a box of parts with her '68 911L - anyone know what is might be ?

Kind of looks like an antenna of some sort, maybe the manufacturer on the label would have the info. It's aftermarket and not a Porsche part.

Andy,

It looks like it would attach over an early chrome bumper guard/overrider. Same shape and bolt holes for the rear. Maybe its part of a rear rack of some sort.

Is it the rear section of the factory ski rack that would attach to the targa bar or coupe rain gutter?

Thanks Jamie - I thought it might be part of a ski rack or something similar but couldn't figure out why it would be that shape...
